The Raritan Yacht Club Board of Governors has established the Junior Raritan Yacht Club. The junior club’s mission is to encourage junior involvement in sailing, racing and general social activities, and assist in adult club functions.

Membership is for children ages 8 - 20 years of age. 2008 dues are $15.00 for children of RYC members and $20.00 for non - members' children. If you join the club or renew membership before April 1st you will receive a free junior yacht club t-shirt.

Nominations for 2008-2009 Junior RYC Flag

Nominations for 2008-2009 Junior RYC Flag: The 2008-2009 Junior Flag Officers will be installed at the 2008 Awards and Change of Command Dinner in August. Those juniors wishing to be considered for Junior Flag Officer positions should contact Paul Zajac or Rene Clawson. The Nomination Committee's strong preference will be to present candidates for 2008-2009 Junior Flag Officers who will be participants in the Summer Sailing Program in 2008.

Bylaw Benefits of Junior Raritan Yacht Club Membership

The benefits of long term membership in the Junior Raritan Yacht Club include potential reduction of future adult initiation fees. See the Raritan Yacht Club Bylaws, Article Seven, Section Eight. As it relates to this benefit, Juniors and their parents are responsible for maintaining records of dues payment and activity records.
